To create this illustration for their book cover with Prof. Claudia Mitchell and Dr. Ann Smith was a great pleasure and an exceptional collaboration. By Berghahn Books, "The Girl in the Pandemic" will be published in April 2023.

Due to a deadline set by the publisher, I had to do this artwork using Adobe Ai quickly. I chose to design and illustrate a design that was halfway between realism and surrealism, using the simplicity of black and white to save time without adding colours.
